We use Sanded ECO///Twill™ because it promotes healthy, sustainable, pesticide and chemical free farming. In order for cotton to be certified as organic, it must be grown in soil that has not been touched by a chemical in at least three years. In non-organic cotton farming, farmers use huge amounts of (petroleum based) toxic chemicals. These same chemicals kill the soil, pollute the water and complicate human health.
